Susanne works as the Director of Clinical Operations at Xequel Bio. Her role is to provide leadership for all clinical trial activities, along with oversight and management of CROs and vendors, training and development of clinical staff, and implementation of new processes and systems. Additionally, in order to ensure the integrity of clinical trials, Susanne conducts audits both internally and externally for quality assurance.

Susanne has over 20 years of experience with top-tier pharmaceutical and CRO companies, and she has managed and partnered with both full-service providers and functional service departments. She specializes in Sponsor and CRO Management and Oversight, Project Management, Vendor and Strategic Partnerships, Monitoring, Quality Assurance, and Process Management. Her expertise is in driving compliance, efficiencies, and execution of clinical trials, both internally sponsored and those managed by partnering CROs.

She loves the camaraderie across the Xequel Bio team. Susanne admires that everyone takes ownership of all activities and pride in the execution of those activities. This culture paired with strong leadership and cutting-edge technology make Xequel an exciting place to be.

Personal interests include traveling, both domestically and internationally, whenever possible. Susanne enjoys hosting and providing catering services to friends and family looking to create memories that last a lifetime. She also enjoys spending time in the beautiful mountains, whether it be Colorado or Utah, hiking, golfing, and skiing.
